We've written a business plan for SACDS. This plan contains three projects and a 'general' part. (housing, management, etc)

Are you good with numbers? Have you ever made a budget before? Assist Sabina in getting the budget right, so we can finalize the business plan.

Project: Help set up proper day care for children and professional training for women

Hi Truman,

what about if we make start up (set up) budget and operational budget seperately?

In my opinion, set up budget is one time cost and operational budget can be made for 12 months.

Hope this statement help us to figure out our budget.

There is missing of fixed assests and depreciation calculation.Once I find I will post it.

I have looked at the proposal and the attached budget . My comments are that even if I have not read your proposal in detail, it does not seem convincing to the donor. I may have to help you make it persuasive to attract some donors. My ask is how soonn do you want the task done?

In our business plan, we have developed different
programs and we need budget seperately for each program. In wiki there are some estimated cost too.

The budget f'work provided by you was appropriate, however, I have removed the "operating revenue" section, as I believe that this is not necessary for the project. I've developed an improvised start-up and operating budget frameworks for all 3 programs. In addition, I've also created a consolidated start-up and a consolidated operating budget framework for this project. (There are 8 worksheets altogether). All the worksheets are formula driven, so all you have to do is update the individual costs (in RS) only. Everything else, including the consolidated budgets are then automatically updated. :).

We can always add more line items if necessary, so don't worry about that.

Another important point ia that some costs will have to be shared b'w the 3 programs, such as, rental. When updating the budgets, we must make sure that these types of costs are approriately allocated, otherwise, we may double count them.

Once you have updated the worksheets with the appropriate costs for each item, I will be happy to review the worksheets again for you. Thanks. Sumitra.

Dear Neighbors,

I did see the website www.kiva.org, but think it is meant for people doing business and wanting loans to uplift themselves.Our work is voluntary, it is not for profit or we don't intend to get pay for it.If we take a loan to support our project(s) that means that we will have to pay in the longrun.

I stand to be corrected, but think loans are meant to be pay back.
