Design Brochure/Poster for Marketing and Awareness Raising

In the marketing strategy section of the business plan it is mentioned that a flyer, poster or brochure should advertise the programme of the centre. At the same time, the awareness should be raised of the value of education in general.

Are you good in designing flyers/posters and/or writing advertisement texts? Follow your own imagination and design one or several general awareness posters and a flyer/brochure for the programme.

The final text would then be translated into Nepalí.

Do you know what? To be honest I forgot all about the brochure.....I'm so sorry..

I have done one up to see what you think, it has all three programs on the one, more info is needed for the adult programs and also just basic stuff like address of centre, fees, meals etc. I figured Sabina could add those later if she was happy with the basic layout. Hi again,

Should explain the brouchure is double sided once printed off so we will fold it in half, so on the first page the right hand side (if you can picture it) of the page is the front cover, the left side is the back cover. Then the 2nd page is the inside info.

Thanks so much for your draft for the brochure! I like it a lot, especially the text - here some ideas from my side:

- I think it might be better to have the text justified and a bit more space between the columns. That makes it look calmer.

- The general heading should maybe also include the adult learning component, so maybe "an innovative approach to education" or something? That's also close to the name of the tutoring project...

- I would also make it a bit bolder, i.e. more prominent.

- Sabina mentioned that she'll make some pictures of the tutoring as well as knitting so maybe we can include one or the other picture from Yoshinkhel still.

- And my boyfriend just had a very nice idea too: what about putting little hands above or below the text or in the corners, or between the paragraphs - or children holding hands (like a scissors cut) - or bigger hands in the background of the text?

Finally... the brochure is here!! Hope its worth the wait. Let me know any changes etc and once your happy with it and have done translation I can print them off for you in colour. Sabina.. we are putting our heads together here to see if we can get the centre a digital camera so we can get bigger pictures will let u know how we go.

I like this picture because it shows a girl reading, which may be inspiration for little children! It's good to have this image in their minds!
