Opportunity to provide a loan to SACDS for printing of calendars

In order to pay for the printing of calendars, SACDS needs to raise a small amount of money in a short period of time. They are actually seeking a loan for a maximum of USD$500.
As we are running out of time to print and get the calendars out for sale, we were hoping that 5 Neighbours would lend Sabina and SACDS $100 each with the view that you would be repaid once all the calendars were sold.
We have no idea if anyone is willing to help out here so please provide us with feedback about this idea of a short-term loan. Are you willing to lend USD$100 for a period of 3-4 months? If so please let us know. If not- got any bright ideas?

I would be willing to contribute! Maybe those who would be willing to contribute would also want to help to sell the calendars? This way money could be re-couped directly through the sales and we wouldn't have to be sending around money more than necessary :) it does cost as well after all...
Best, Angelika
Hi Angelika,
thanks for putting your hand up re the money. I am prepared to do the same.
It's tricky though as we need a small number of Neighbours to put theii hands up and be willing to put up a little bit of money upfront. Lieuwe's post in a previous task that he could prepare the files for printing at a local printer is a fine idea- my main conern is that neighbours would have to committ to actually getting the calendars printed and then sell them so they recoup their money plus some profit for SACDS. If we can get that comittment for about 3-5 other neighbours then we will have some progress with this.
Does anyone know Ursula or her contact details?? She hasn't been on line for aover 2 weeks now and we are awaiting the final calendar design. Without this we cannot progress.
I don't know if your time frame allows, but Kiva makes such loans at no interest and you set up repayment schedule through Kiva. http://www.kiva.org/app.php
Thanks for the tip Tom however KIVA won't work for us this time mainly because of the timeframe. Sabina has been in touch with them tough about other possible loans for the business and SACDS.
