Sell a calendar with beautiful Yoshinkhel images for fundraising

We are currently designing a calendar from the wonderful images Sabina took from the women, children and Yoshinkhel itself. Who would help us to sell it in their surroundings???
We need a number of neighbours to sell the calendars in their families, with their friends, neighbours, collegues etc to raise funds for the women and children of Yoshinkhel. I was also thinking that they will make a wonderful present for all my family and friends: instead of wrecking my head as to what to find for them this is a great way to do two good things at the same time, and a calendar is something that anyone can use too!
So: who's in???

Yes i agree to sell a calendar with beautiful Youshinkhel images for fundraising
Thank you, Rashid, that's great! Please stay tuned so we can discuss the details amongst all of us who agree to help sell the calendar!
Kind regards, Angelika
Hi Angelika and team,
We'd be more than happy to feature the calendar on the NABUUR blog, and promote it via Twitter and Facebook. Looking forward to more details! :)
Best,
Romina
Dear Romina,
It would indeed be great if you could promote the task and see if we can gather a number of Nabuurs to help sell the calendar to make the most of the fundraising. We are still looking into the matter of printing in Nepal vs. printing in the local copy shop, but I think we tend to the latter.
Kind regards, Angelika
blessed is the person who has found his work.it is a noval opportunity to chase contacts and capture contracts.may your project be crowned with glorious success!

Dear all,
We are almost done with the design of the calendar: Ursula created a wonderful design and Carolyn and Sabina developed the text for it :)
We still need some volunteers to help us sell the calendar!!!
Kind regards, Angelika
Dear all,
Romina was so kind to send out a call via twitter and facebook for volunteers to promo and sell copies of the calendar - let's hope we'll find some eager helpers :)
And - she already heard via Twitter that the European Summit (http://www.europeansummit.org/) which is going to be held in Rotterdam, NL, on November 21-22, would be happy to have the calendars there as some participants of the summit are from Nepal. I'll get in contact with them to discuss details!
Kind regards, Angelika
Sounds Great!!!!!!!
Hi Angelika,
This are great news!!
I went a few minutes ago to the Nabuur page at Facebook and posted a link to an album with the pages of the calendar for the volunteers to take a look at it. Hope this helps :)
Regards,
Ursula
Good news: one of the Fair Trade stores I went to will take at least a couple of the calendars in commission :) also a friend will display them in the culture house she works in and I'll take them along to my gym class - maybe someone wants to buy one :)
Only I still have to print it - turns out it's quite expensive to have them bound so I think I'll do it myself in the office...the sales prices should still be realistic after all and there should still be some money left to send to the women after all ;)
Looking forward to hearing what are your experiences!
Kind regards, Angelika
Dear Ursula,
My colleague just noted that unfortunately the calendar has the wrong days of the week indicated at the bottom: instead of the Sunday it should start with Monday! Is there any chance you could create a corrected line we could cut out to stick over the current one? For the ones I will 'buy from myself' as presents I will simply cut off this lower end, but I have other ones in shops/restaurants and cannot really do that there...so I guess I have to correct them somehow...
Dear all,
If you have not yet printed calendars, please hang on in there, or like me just cut off the lower part!
Best, Angelika
PS: BTW it seems that many people, even if they are not intersted in the calendar get inspired an instead give something as a donation! In my gym class I only managed to sell one calendar, but altogether they donated almost 50 Euro :)
Dear Angelika,
So sorry that a mistake as such has been overseen. Please find attached a file with the corrected line. It has a bit more size at the sides and at the bottom so that you can fit it well to the pages.
I´m also uploading a revised version of all the pages. Will provide the links in the next post.
Regards,
Ursula
P.S.: while checking the pages I've found that the mistake was only in 03 of the pages. Please read next post for more details.
Hi Angelika,
While checking the original files, and verifying the dates with google calendar, I've noticed that the mistake is present only in three pages: January, February and December. So I'm attaching an specific "corrected line" for each of them.
Also I will upload a new version of those full pages in case there is the possibility of replacing them, and for next printings. Will provide links in next post.
Regards,
Ursula

Angelika,
I can´t disable the previous links of the wrong files.
Would you please delete those links from your post "Calendar and Poster 2010", and copy/paste the new ones. Thanks!

Ursula
Hi Ursula,
Thanks for updating the files and making the correction lines! I've changed also the links in my previous post.
Kind regards and best wishes for the holiday period,
Angelika
