How is NABUUR financed?
In its current development phase, NABUUR.com depends on finances from sources that recognize the potential value of the NABUUR mechanism, like Hivos, Sida and the Nationale Postcode Loterij. After 2006 NABUUR will be self-financing. Once NABUUR gives many local communities access to their Virtual Neighbours, a number of income sources can be developed. Local communities will continue to receive the NABUUR service for free.
