I am in total agreement with Richa. Can we please try to use advances in technology reduce or remove the distance barrier.
This afternoon I am having an interactive afternoon with the youth and children I work, play and associate with in our ever popular play day.We have this activity every weekend to keep over 25 children playing and enjoying so that they spend this time positively and not engage in bad vices, which are very easy to do taking into account of their environment.
The pont of visiting our village at least 2-3 times a week is very important.
Thank,
Mulenga

Dear friends

We all are part of this great great Nabuur village and that's the reason we call ourselves as neighbours. But we would have noticed that Adyaka is a vey quiet village. So do we want to live in a quiet village or a village which brims with activity. Am sure, most would opt for the latter.
All of us must be visiting this website if not daily then atleast once in 2-3 days. But rarely there are posts from any neighbours. Infact all of us are not even familiar with each other which is not a healthy sign.
Agreed, that all of us are here with a purpose and the main objective is to achieve it. But it definitely does not mean that we can't be talking about any other thing. All of are here from different countries.. working in different environments.. meeting different kinds of people in our daily life. WOuld it not be interesting to make our village more interactive by talking about all those.. like the way we would have done if we were neighbours in the real world.. We can talk about our daily lives.. our work.. our weekends.. hobbies..there are numerous things to talk about..
I would really appreciate if all the neighbours come forward to make it possible.

About the document- Will be ready by Sunday evening. The group leader would get it by Monday.

Looking forward to see a lot more animated adyaka from tomorrow onwards.

Dear Neighbours
So now we have three groups in a full fledged manner.
1. Social psycho group- I will take care of that.
2.Training- Sarah would take care of that
3.Business- Terae is looking after this group.

Alex, I did personally send message to all the neighbous. Am in touch with both Pankaj and Anand. They are slightly busy right now and would be able to help only after a month.

Would send the document by the end of this week. Till then I would request the members to read the materails and come up with some discussion.

Would it be possible to have a chat anytime this week??

Regards
Richa

Sarah,
That sounds good to me. Just need some direction I think about what we are developing. A paragraph to be incorporated to the action plan? Have you read the chat of Richa and Enon? It is helpful in giving a picture of the children there, very much in need of training and support to fill their days it sounds.
